New Designs, what do you think?
Let me know of what you think about these new designs, some constructive critisism would be really good! Should I try putting an old photograph in the middle of the ornate frame necklace? Or adding some charms to it, or just leave it as it is with it's simple and contemporary style? I'm also curious about the little raindrop charms I've made to put onto each necklace... which design looks better? The LASJ or the A, or any other suggestions? I might try a little umbrella to make more of an obvious statement. Got lots to think about!

Inspiration
Feeling very inspired by umbrellas at the moment! Loving the vintage style designs, encorporating lace and pleats. Possibility for a couple of new felt and lace designs coming up... been drawing up thumbnails for the past half hour concentrating on key words such as "dainty", "precious", "delicate" and "unique".
Keep your eyes peeled for the new designs!x

New goodies, loving the owls which I think I'm going to make some earrings out of and make my own mould from.

Cuckoo Clock
Cuckoo Clock Charm
A large moving silver charm in the shape of a Swiss Cuckoo clock. The Cuckoo moves in and out as the weights move back and forward. This is quite a large silver charm and would well hanging from a chain as a pendant – quite a versatile piece of vintage jewellery.
(This is pretty similar to my clock pendants and clock themed jewellery which made me realise how trends often recycle themselves. It's nice to know I'm resurfacing an old trend in my own way!)

Lockets - inspiration
Picture locket brooches;
Some locket brooches are specifically meant to hold photographs rather than hair. These tend to have a large display area with little frame. Many of these picture lockets date from around the first world war when a lady would wear a picture of her favourite soldier.
Here is an Edwardian picture locket brooch which could hold a photo in both sides with the picture swivelling so that you can choose which side to display:
